Gavin Libotte

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

Gavin Rene Libotte is a multi–award-winning Australian photographer, born in Kent, Sussex, England, and now based in Sydney. His work explores the human condition and our relationship to the world, both seen and unseen, reflecting the idea that human experience exists across physical and spiritual layers. Drawn to strong composition, hard light, and the presence of faces and figures, he often works in black and white as well as color, and has recently incorporated flash, intentional camera movement, and reflections into his practice. With a background in fine art, his photography focuses on street work, where everyday moments reveal deeper human stories.
