Collection: Guto Oliveira

DOIS IRMAOS, BRAZIL

Guto Oliveira is a documentary photographer from southern Brazil whose long-term projects explore the relationship between territory, nature, and human experience amid social and environmental change.

His work takes a contemporary documentary approach, where landscape and everyday life become sites of tension between memory, identity, and permanence. Through immersive, time-based visual narratives, his images reveal the deep interdependence between communities, environments, and ways of life at risk of disappearing, while engaging broader questions of belonging, sustainability, and collective responsibility.

Oliveira is a member of Everyday Brazil, part of the global Everyday Projects network, as well as Observadores Urbanos and Moments Collective. He has participated in exhibitions and publications in Brazil and internationally.
