Miranti Puti Aisyah is a street photographer based in Vancouver who enjoys exploring color, space, and pattern in her work. She often roams public transit to capture her shots and, originally from bustling Jakarta, seeks simplicity through her photography.

Story Behind the Image: Taken aboard the Staten Island Ferry in December 2023, this photograph captures the distant Statue of Liberty framed by passengers lingering on deck. Visiting New York had been a childhood dream, and in that moment I felt a mix of awe and fulfillment at finally experiencing the city I had long imagined.

Paper: This piece is printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag, a premium, heavyweight (308gsm), bright white, 100% cotton rag paper with a smooth matte finish. This is an archival print designed to last 100+ years.
