Mark Morton: Mark is a self-taught photographer (and curator of The Morii Collection) whose passion for street photography has inspired him to travel the world. Story Behind the Image: As I first arrived into the courtyard of my Parisian Airbnb, I passed a stranger on the staircase. “Bonjour,” I offered. “Hello,” they replied, their tone knowing. As they vanished, I turned and captured their silhouette in the fading light. Taken in Bastille in fall 2020, it’s a moment I’ll always remember —and a face I never saw again.

Paper: This piece is printed on Canson Baryta, a premium, heavyweight (310gsm), pure white paper with a luster surface that mimics a darkroom print. This is an archival print designed to last 100+ years.
